Château Bizard differs in that it grows hillside vineyards.
Grape varieties are always oriented North and South. That way, aeration provided by the prevailing North-South winds blows out humidity, limits pest risks, and minimises the number of treatments for vine diseases. As the maturing of grapes remain protected from overheating, it also brings out exceptional fruit flavours.
The most characteristic grape varieties of the Rhône Valley are planted at Château Bizard, naturally dominated by Syrah, Black Grenache and Viognier. Vine plants of White Grenache, Roussanne, Marsanne and Cinsault complement the organoleptic diversities, which primarily makes for the specificity of the production.
